Secret Weapon.

A friend of ours was selling her truck when she realized she really only wanted to sell it so she could go on a shopping spree at Frances May. This is when she devised a perfect trade this little beauty for Frances May bucks. I loved the idea and had to jump on it. Now we have the prefect weapon for a DIY home remodel.

Demolition

New Find!

Look what we found under three layers of linoleum, TILE! The exact kind we wanted to install in the first place! I love a happy surprises such as this.
I'll let you know what we find under our kitchen floors.

Progress

So all the wallpaper has been removed! The upstairs has been painted and half the floors are done. All we need is a new light fixture in the room and paint the trim and we are done with the bedroom! Next on our list the priming of the dining room/ living room and bathroom. I'll be out of town for two weeks. Kent plans to start tearing down wall in the kitchen. yikes.

First Day

This was our first weekend with keys to our new place! First thing we did was pull out all the carpet, take down all the window fixtures (inside and out), and peel back the wallpaper.
